Privacy
Your information, handled plainly.
This policy covers bontology.com, the marketing site you are reading now. It explains, in plain words, what we collect when you contact us, how we use it, and what we will never do with it.
Plain-English draft, under founder review before launch.
What we collect
When you fill out a form on this site, we collect what you choose to tell us: your name, work email, role, what you are trying to do (your use case), your company size, your timeline, and any optional message you add. That is it. We do not ask for anything sensitive, and we do not collect more than we need to reply to you thoughtfully.
How we use it
We use what you send for one purpose: to understand your request and respond to it. When you submit a form, the details are delivered to us by email so a real person at Bontology can follow up and prepare a relevant conversation. We do not use your information to build a profile of you, and we do not add you to a marketing program you did not ask for.
What we never do
We never sell your personal data. We never share it with advertisers, and we do not run advertising trackers on this site. We do not trade, rent, or hand your information to third parties to market to you. Your details are for the conversation you started with us, and nothing else.
Analytics
We use Plausible, a cookieless, anonymous analytics service, to understand which pages are useful. It sets no cookies, does not follow you across the web, and cannot tie activity back to you as an individual, which is why this site has no cookie banner. If our approach ever changes, this page changes with it, in advance.
The product is separate
This policy is about the website only. The Bontology product, the application at app.bontology.com, is a separate service with its own agreements covering how customer and interview data is handled there. Visiting or contacting us through this site does not sign you up for the product, and this policy does not govern it.
Your choices
You are always in control of what you have shared with us. If you would like us to delete the information you submitted through a form, email us and we will remove it. If you want to know what we hold from your submission, or you would like to correct it, ask and we will help. We will act on these requests as a matter of course, because it is the right way to treat the information you trusted us with.
