The method, end to end

Follow one answer from interview to requirement.

Bontology builds a model in seven steps, and keeps a line back to the source at every one. Trace a single stakeholder answer all the way through, and see how the whole thing holds together.

  1. 01

    Invite the people who know

    Consultants invite stakeholders into a Bontology Assessment. Interviews run in parallel, not in sequence.

  2. 02

    Capture in plain language

    Stakeholders describe their work in their own words. No process jargon is required of them.

  3. 03

    Extract the moving parts

    Bontology pulls activities, systems, issues, exceptions, and handoffs from what was said, and flags anything it does not recognize instead of dropping it.

  4. 04

    Reconcile and validate

    Conflicting accounts are surfaced and resolved. Low-confidence items go to an exception queue for human review.

  5. 05

    Generate the outputs

    Architecture, dollar-ranked priorities, requirements, and user stories generate from the reconciled model, so they agree with each other.

  6. 06

    Review evidence and gaps

    Every item carries its confidence, its verification state, and a link back to the exact interview evidence.

  7. 07

    Export or hand off

    Send requirements and stories to a build partner in their language, with the business context attached, or keep working the living model.
